Ginger Chutney



Ingredients 

1 cup ginger, peeled and diced into 1” cubes
1 large lemon size tamarind 
1 cup Red chillies
2 tbsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp Asafoetida
4 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste 

In a sauté pan heat sesame oil. Add mustard seeds, red chillies. Once mustard seeds splutter, add the asafoetida and heat until it blooms. Turn heat off. 


Grind all ingredients in a mixer. Enjoy with hot rice and ghee.
