Menapa Sunni - Urad Laddoo



Ingredients for laddoo

2 cups split Urad (de husked black gram)
1 cup finely powdered sugar
1/2 cup ghee melted


Procedure for making laddoo

In a saute pan, roast the urad dal, until it turns a nice golden brown. Aroam will fin the air. Note: Urad burns really easy. So dont  step away.  Once, roasted & at romm temperature, grind the urad to a fine powder.

Mix with the powdered sugar. You may bottle this and keep for months.

To make laddoos, to the sugar & urad mix add the melted ghee and make small balls.
